HTC has released a pretty premium non-flagship smartphone, the HTC U23 Pro.

The new HTC U23 Pro is powered by a trusty Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, with an option between 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage. It ships with the latest Android 13 operating system.

It comes with a fancy 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED screen, with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, and a tough Gorilla Glass Victus protection. A cutout on top of the screen holds the 32-megapixel main camera.

On the back, we have a sharp 108-megapixel main camera with OIS, joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 5-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

It has a surprisingly small 4,600mAh battery but with decent 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support.

One unique feature it has is the pre-installed VIVERSE app and its compatibility with VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset.

The HTC U23 Pro is available in Taiwan for a price of TWD16,990 (~Php30,900) and TWD17,990 (~Php32,800) for the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants, respectively.
